The FuoriCampo Gallery is pleased to announce its reopening in the new space on Saturday, May 7th, starting at 7:00 PM at Via dei Termini 44 in Siena.

The exhibition program restarts with a group show by the five artists currently represented by the gallery: João Freitas, Mirthe Klück, Marco Andrea Magni, Oscar Abraham Pabón, and Eugenia Vanni. It revolves around a theme dear to all of them, albeit developed with very different technical and conceptual prerogatives: the monochrome.

This exhibition was born even before; when we asked Francesco Carone, an internationally renowned artist from Siena and above all a friend, to suggest the ideal distribution and fruition of the space according to aesthetic and functional criteria, a methodology of intervention that the artist knows very well, accustomed to the development and realization of projects for museums and nonprofits. Carone responded by giving a title and a 'vision' structured as an invitation to reflect on the artworks and, above all, on the time and mode of fruition, study, and contemplation of these works, surrendering to the principle of continuity and the recurring constants of the universal itinerary of art, and finally, in a more practical manner, to resolve the dialectic between container and content.

The contemplation of color as pure form is an exercise in conceptual asceticism that starts from vision and leads to the opposite of the mystical object that ascends from matter to intuition. In pure color, the octaves of figuration resonate; although color is an accident of form, in the monochrome, it rises as substance without attribute.

The exhibition will remain visible until June 5th and will be followed by a series of short solo shows that will present in more depth the work of each individual artist, starting precisely from the presented monochrome in "The Masters of Color," configuring itself, in a certain way, as a creative act that, from the germination of one work, develops a new exhibition every time.
